Milan, 1530s

Anthony studied medicine at Padua and practiced as a doctor among the poor of Cremona.1

He began teaching the faith too, and soon became a priest.1

In Milan he founded the Barnabites to renew the Church through preaching and the sacraments.

Patronage No official patronage we can cite yet. The Church remembers him as founder of the Barnabites.
