Norbert was a well-off clergyman at the imperial court who enjoyed the good life.1

Riding one day, he was thrown from his horse in a storm.1

Like Paul, he got up a different man.

He founded the Premonstratensians, the Norbertines, at Prémontré, and later became archbishop of Magdeburg.1
