Romuald was a young nobleman of Ravenna when his father killed a relative in a duel over property.1

Romuald went to a monastery to do forty days of penance for his father.1

He stayed, and spent the rest of his life founding hermitages and monasteries.

Patronage No official patronage we can cite yet. The Church remembers him as the founder of the Camaldolese monks.
