St. Zachary
Pope 741 to 52. Stephen II followed Zachary, but because he died before being consecrated, modern lists omit him.
“After the burial of his predecessor Gregory III on 29 November, 741, he was immediately and unanimously elected pope and consecrated and enthroned on 5 December.”
